Everyone loves listening to podcasts. It’s one of the new modern entertainment activities. It takes some time though. Most podcasts are minimum 1 hour. In order to get the most of your time, you can play podcast games. I’ve found 15 games to play while listening to podcasts. These are the games you can shut your brain and still enjoy!
A podcast game better have pause option so that you can alt + tab into the podcast when something interesting comes up. I’m assuming you’re watching video podcast, anyway, if you’re going to multi task while playing, better make sure that the game has pause! Meaning no multiplayer, no PvP, and no competitive.
Also, its better if you can still do things in the game during pause. That way you can give 80% of your attention to podcast and still don’t ruin your game campaign.
What else? You can go for mindless hack & slash games like Diablo or try super casual and chill farming games like Stardew Valley. It’s up to you to find your favorite gaming genre for podcast time.

If you aren’t fighting another nation or travelling somewhere, the game is static until you get an event. Therefore, CK3 is the kind of game goes very well while listening to podcast.
3. Europa Universalis IV
Same as Crusader Kings 3, unless you’re fighting a war, EU4 is pretty static. It’s even gets boring unless you’re fighting. I always listen to podcast playing Europa Universalis IV.
4. Divinity Original Sin
Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 are isometric RPGs with turn-based combat. Meaning, you run around the world and the game pauses during turn-based combat.
5. Baldur’s Gate 3
Isometric RPG with turn-based combat. Same as Divinity Original Sin games, but even better! Because Baldur’s Gate 3 is created by the same developers with much much more budget.
