Don’t call me a boomer or anything but seriously, the new video games are not nearly as good as the old cult classics. But the problem is, old cult classic games are clanky, outdated, with bad graphics, etc. Luckily all of those problems can easily be fixed with remastering! Remaster in gaming is basically referring to improving the quality of old graphics, sounds, music, gameplay mechanics, and even parts of story in some instances. An outdated old video game can be quite fun and playable after getting a good remaster.
I would really like to see remastered versions of games such as Baldur’s Gate 1&2, Black&White, Fighting Force, Silent Hill, Freedom Fighters, and LOTR Return of The King in the future.
