I don’t care what others say, JoJo is the best anime series of all times. Even though it’s best, there aren’t enough Jojo games to satisfy the demands of the fanbase. Well, we’ll play with what we have then. Here are the 12 best JoJo games you can find.
About the games below, some are available on PC, some are console exclusive, and some are really old. Still, a JoJo game is always fun to play no matter what.
Best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure games:
1. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is one of the best JoJo games that is available for all platforms. At first, it’s released for PS3 in 2013. Then its remake version released for all platforms in 2022. Therefore, it’s the latest JoJo game released so far.
Basically, it’s a classic anime fighting game with 50 characters from all parts of the JoJo. You can use stand power, hamon, and more in multiple game modes.
2. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor
Last Survivor is a battle royale Jojo game. It’s the best JoJo game in my opinion because of its graphics, gameplay, and intense multiplayer action. However, the game is exclusive to the Arcade machines in Japan.
Bandai Namco Entertainment please, this is the best JoJo game and fans deserve to play it worldwide.
As for the game itself, it’s a 20-player battle royale. Each player controls a Jojo character and roam the vast map. Eventually, dangerous zone expand, and people battle it out to be the last survivor. Just like PUBG.
3. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven
Eyes of Heaven is again a PlayStation exclusive Jojo fighting game released in 2016. It’s the second game following the 2013 game All Star Battle. We can only hope it receives a re-make like All Star and re-release for all platforms.
Unlike the linear fighting of All Star, Eyes of Heaven features battles in open large areas, like Naruto games.
4. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood
This one is an old PS2 game released in 2006. It features the story of first JoJo, Jonathan Joestar.
The game is an action game with a 3D beat’em up model. You can use hamon in it but since there are no stands in that era, I find it kinda boring to be honest.
But it’s essential if you like JoJo and want to play its games in the chronological order of the manga.
5. Jump Force
For those who don’t know, Jump is a weekly manga magazine in Japan. Magazine itself features various manga series, especially the most popular ones.
So, Jump Force is a 1v1 fighting game where you can control a team of characters from the manga series weekly featured in Jump magazine. Of course, it has JoJo in it too.
Most popular anime characters of Jump Force:
- Jotaro Kujo
- Dio
- Goku
- Vegeta
- Frieza
- Ichigo
- Aizen
- Naruto
- Luffy
- Gon
- Hisako
6. The 7th Stand User
7th stand user is a Fan-made RPG with multiple endings. The game is set in the Jotaro’s Stardust Crusade, and you play as the 7th stand user of the group.
After a fateful meeting with Jotaro, you embark on a journey to save Holly’s life. You can fully customize your character and choose among 18 unique stands and personalities.
The game has Pokemon like graphics which works perfectly for a JoJo RPG. So, if you are fan of Stardust Crusaders, jump into the hours of engaging gameplay with 19 different endings!
7. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Diamond Records
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records is a 2017 3D action video game developed by Bandai Namco for iOS and Android. Don’t get turned off because it’s a mobile game. There aren’t many JoJo games to play, and this is one of the good ones.
Even though it is a Mobile game, you can still play it on your PC via emulator.
8. GioGio’s Bizarre Adventure
GioGio’s Bizarre Adventure is the second and last PS2 JoJo game on this list. It features the events of JoJo Golden Wind.
It’s released in 2002 but it looks and feels like modern fighting games. In 3D environment you can use both physical attacks, special combos, stands, other objects to defeat your opponents.
The game was Japan exclusive. But you can now find its English patched ROM to play on your PC via emulator.
9. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 1998
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 1998 is not the oldest JoJo game but it’s the first JoJo fighting game. The game is pretty similar to the Mugen fighting games.
It’s originally released as Arcade only game but later digitally released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in August 2012. Of course, it’s graphics are updated as high-definition.
10. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 1993
This one is the oldest JoJo game you can find. It’s made in 1993 for SNES and is an interactive environment role playing game with turn-based combat. It was definitely ahead of its time. I’m glad I found out about this hidden gem.
The game was originally Japanese only. However, you can play it on PC with emulator and English patch right now.
Definitely worth playing for nostalgia, epicness, and bizarreness.
11. Bizarre Souls
