List of 15 video games where you play as druid or can play as a druid class character. Druid class is very fun and versatile because you can cast spells, heal, conjure familiar, and even transform into a strong beast. Druid is my favorite class just like paladin, sorcerer, and necromancer.
Druid class works very well with half-elf and wood-elf race. They usually hang out in the wilderness, harmonize with nature, and dress green. They look chill. Another perk of druid class is the ability of communicating with animals. Animal talking feature RPGs is one of the most immersive things I’ve ever seen.
As for the historical meaning of the name druid, it was the name of high-ranking priest class in ancient Celtic cultures. They were pagan religious leaders, legal authorities, adjudicators, lore-keepers, medical professionals and political advisors. I believe the most famous druid is the Merlin from Arthurian Legends.

Dragon Age: Origin is the first and the best game of the franchise. Don’t argue on this with me because I don’t care about the graphics. All I care is rich story, brilliant writing, and decisions really mean something in an RPG. DAO is a brilliant RPG with all the correct elements.
