Horror and RPG mixes very well. However, there aren’t many games like that, especially not AAA ones. But still, I’ve managed to find 22 amazing horror role playing games. Some are indie, some are using pixel graphics, and some are really old. Yet, you can scratch the horror RPG itch of yours with one or two of these games.
Most horror games are nothing but jump scares. But real horror gourmets know that the real deal horror games or movies doesn’t rely on jump scares. Instead, they use immersion, atmosphere, deep story, and even psychology.
As you can expect, horror RPGs doesn’t rely on jump scares. They are the real deal. So, let’s begin.
