Mittelafrika is one of the most important puppet states for German Empire. Not because of its industry or manpower, but because of the events that grants free divisions via Mittelafrika. So, how to keep Mittelafrika in Kaiserreich and prevent the big colonial collapse?
German Empire must hold Mittelafrika at all costs. Yet, in most of the saves, Mittelafrika collapses into bunch of African countries. Damn you Hermann Göring, you are a bad governor.
In order to keep Mittelafrika as a colonial government of the German Empire, Von Göring must be replaced. How to do that? You cannot do it manually. Around 1937, you will get an event to replace Göring. Colonial Government must be reformed and ruled by a reformist leader. That is the only way to prevent Mittelafrika Collapse.
Prevent Mittelafrika Collapse
Mittelafrika collapse is devastating in Kaiserreich. Once collapse happens, only a small portion of Mittelafrika remains and it is now called Südwestafrika. Which is useless because of zero resources, industry and manpower.
But of course, it is preventable by the decisions you make during the run. Firstly, help the colonies via the decisions you make. Then do all you can to replace current leader Hermann von Göring. Because Göring is the main reason of Mittelafrika collapse in Kaiserreich. Once he is replaced, Mittelafrika stabilizes and keeps all of her lands.
It is worth keeping Mittelafrika and German East Asia colonies as German Empire. Because they have resources, manpower, and helpful events. Besides you want to have a foothold on the different continents to make a global world domination. Which is the main goal of the Germany.
Some of the countries emerge during the Mittelafrike collapse:
- Barotseland
- Ostafrika
- Qaranganze
- Kivu Clique
- Congo
- Kikuyuland
- Buganda
- Gabon
- Tshuapa Clique
- Chari Emirate
- Cameroon
- Dahomey
- Togoland
Every now and then, three fully equipped divisions arrive in Germany from Mittelafrika. Even if you don’t need any more divisions, that means free manpower and equipment. That is why I always do what I can to keep German colonies under Imperial control.
So, there I said it. Everything you need to know about African colony of German Empire is here. Of course, if you wish to add or ask something, just use the comment section below and I will see you soon. Thank you for tuning in. I am glad that you did.
Mittelafrikas survival is not dependent on Göring being removed. His path will eventually result in a major rebellion, but this is very well telegraphed, and you’re free to trigger it whenever you want (ideally after WW2, when then Reichspakt can lend all its ressources to your aid). Nothing important is locked up by that focus, in fact it leads to a natural end point for a Göring playthrough.
Only complicated part ist not collapsing during the Portugese raids, because your stability will go down, and even go down further if you annex part of Portugals colonies.
So no, Göring doesn’t have to go. It’s easier without him, and you get access to more foci and national spirits than otherwise, but it’s by no means a must.
Thank you!
