Lone wolf is a concept we remember from the other Larian Studios game, Divinity Original Sin. It is a trait that basically reduces the group limit in return of great strength. In short, power of two will be given to one character. It is the choice of players who don’t want to micro-manager too many characters. So, does Baldur’s Gate 3 have Lone Wolf as well?
There isn’t a lone wolf trait in the game yet. You can still do lone wolf playthrough by not recruiting any companion. However, your character won’t be any stronger. Therefore, it would be super hard. Still, there are builds on the internet and Youtube to make your character strong enough to solo the game. But you must also be a skilled player to do so.
I personally like the companions and their interaction. But of course, it is a matter of choice. Those who don’t want any companions might want to check out the BG3 lone wolf build below. Also, you must keep your eyes open for Baldur’s Gate 3 treasures on your solo play. Because you will need strong artifacts to beat this game by your own.
