I’ve watched HBO’s prison drama series OZ and another great TV series called Prison Break. Both are amazing TV series delving into prison life. Huge fan here, ha ha. So, naturally prison themed role-playing games fascinate me too. If you like these kinds of games, check out the TV series I’ve mention just now. You’ll like them for sure even if you’re slightly interested in prison setting.

Hard Time is the ultimate prison role playing game. It’s the best, you can’t find any prison simulation better than Hard Time. However, its an old game with outdated stuff such as mechanics, graphics, voices, etc. But its story is amazing. Possibilities are limitless in this game.
The game has two versions. One is the original 3D one which is available for free. You can find the download links on MDickie’s website. The second one is 2013 remake version which is 2D. It’s available on steam for a small fee.
I personally prefer the 3D version because that’s the one I’ve played first. It’s also more hardcore. However, 2D steam version is polished and upgraded. In any case, both versions are great. So, you better watch a couple of videos of both before committing to one.
