There are only 2 Baldur’s Gate 3 multiclass mods out there. But if new ones emerge, I will update this page and include them on the list.
Actually D&D games was always had multiclass system. Older Baldur’s Gate series had it too. So, why doesn’t Baldur’s Gate 3 have multiclass system? Why do we need mods for that? The answer is simple. Because we are still in the early access. Multiclass system will be implemented to Baldur’s Gate 3 with the full release for sure.
Baldur’s Gate 3 full release is to be expected at late 2022. Instead of waiting for full release and official multiclass system, you can of course use BG3 multiclass mods.
Baldur’s Gate 3 multiclass mods:
1. Magic Item Plus
Magic item plus mod is created by lostsoulman, and it adds tons of magical items to your game. So, what makes this mod exactly a multiclass mod? Of course the class embedded rings!
One Verdelite ring allows it’s wearer to use assassin spells. Such as sneak attack melee, sneak attack ranged, and cunning action dash. Also its passive abilities are dexterity saving throw proficiency, intelligence saving throw proficiency, advantage on stealth and sleight of hand rolls. In essence, once a druid character wears this rings, multiclass system activates! Meaning you can both become druid and assassin at the same time.
Cleric, fighter, warlock, wizard, and ranger rings are also included with this mode. Meaning 2 class rings + your own class = 3 class character.
This is the only mod that allows you to use multiclass characters for now. But in time, evidently this page will be updated with more multiclass mods. Finally, the official mod page for further investigation and download links.
2. Respec Mod
This one isn’t exactly a multiclass mod. However, Respec mod allows you to change your characters class any time you want! Unquestionably this removes the repetitiveness from your game.
Respec mod also allows you to change your characters stats and attributes. Now let’s get back to our main topic, multiclassing in Baldur’s Gate 3. For instance, one fight you can use druid spells, next one warlock magic. Respec for dummies book allows you to do that. If that can’t count as multiclass, I don’t know what can.
I did my best to help you with multiclass system implementation in Baldur’s Gate 3. I hope you found this article and mods useful. If you do make sure to leave a nice comment and subscribe to my Youtube channel from the link on top of this page. Thank you for your time and have a great one!
