Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 News

News on Baldur's Gate 3 Playstation version and release date.

bg3 ps5 support

Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 or PS4 version is not available at the moment. Neither the Xbox versions. So, if you want to play BG3 now, try Windows, macOS, or various streaming services like Stadia and Ge-Force-Now

Will BG3 have console support? It is debatable. If you own Xbox, visit the article linked below for more correct information. However, PlayStation 4 – 5 owners are in the correct page.

BALDUR’S GATE 3 XBOX

Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 was PC exclusive at first. Just like Baldur’s Gate 3. Then, Divinity 2 ported to consoles 1 year after. Now that Larian Studios is experienced on console ports, I expect BG3 console versions sooner. However, the game is still an early access. So, don’t expect any console version before the full release.

To be honest, main goal of Larian Studios is selling as many copies as possible. In order to do that, their games must be available on all platforms. Including PlayStation obviously. All in all, BG3 will come to PS5 in the future. Exact date is yet to be announced.

Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 2023

Usually, we don’t see many early access or alpha games on consoles. That’s because of the console companies’ policies. Therefore, I can say in confidence that Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be available on PlayStation before the full release.

The big question is, when is the Baldur’s Gate 3 full release date? Only God knows when… Developers says it will be released at late Q1 or mid Q2 of 2023. However, it is unlikely because the games keep getting delayed these days. To be honest, it is really frustrating. But we must wait!
