Currently, Baldur’s Gate 3 does not support Xbox series. It is only available on Windows, macOS, and various streaming services like Stadia and Ge-Force-Now.

As you already know, Baldur’s Gate 3 developers created another game called Divinity Original Sin 2 in 2017. At first it was Windows exclusive. Later, it is ported to consoles in 2018. It only took one year. Now that Larian Studios experienced in console ports, they might add console support to the Baldur’s Gate 3 on full release.
After all, video game studios want to sell as many game copies as possible. It will eventually come to Xbox Series X / S but the exact date is currently uncertain. Wish we had a BG3 roadmap to follow. Though there are some speculations and rumors about the release date.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Xbox Series X/S 2023
Eventually Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available on Xbox series. However, it will take some time because the game is not fully released yet. Baldur’s Gate 3 is an early access game. Don’t expect to play it on any console before the full release. Perhaps console version will be available couple of months after the full release. Who knows?
So, when is the BG3 full release date? It will be released between late Q1 or mid Q2 of 2023 according to developers. I find it hard to believe. Because games these days keep getting delayed. Postponing video game releases is actually a norm in this day and age.
Waiting is a frustrating concept I know. But there is nothing we can do at the moment. In the meantime, you can play similar games:
If you insist on playing BG3, try Xbox controller on PC. After assigning correct BG3 key-bindings, you can have some fun.
