Best Kamikaze Games

Anything related to WW2 always fascinates me. Including the kamikaze attacks of Japanese pilots.

kamikaze games

Kamikaze attacks are dope. Honor, devotion, and will behind it… Though some historians say kamikaze pilots were just drugged up. I think it’s one of the most interesting things about the WW2 pacific theatre. Experiencing kamikaze in firsthand via video games is a must have experience.

BEST AIRCRAFT CARRIER GAMES

Kamikaze (divine wind) were a part of Japanese aviator units who flew suicide attacks against Allied naval vessels in pacific campaign World War 2. It was supposed to change the tides of battle in favor of Japan but was the opposite because kamikaze killed thousands of experienced pilots.

Tenno Heika Banzai (long live the emperor) was the battle cry of Japanese kamikaze pilots in World War 2.

5. Hearts of Iron IV

GO

Hearts of Iron IV is probably my favorite World War 2 game. It’s no surprise since I’m a huge Paradox fan.

Anyways, it’s the most realistic and strategic WW2 game ever. You can play as any nation in the world from 1936/1939 to the end-date 1948.

My favorite nation happens to be the Japan Empire. There is something really satisfying about conquering vast lands of China and doing strategic battles in the Pacific Theater and Southeast Asia.

As Japan Empire, you can send kamikaze attacks on enemy fleets in this game. It’s a valid strategy since Japan fleets alone are no match for the royal navy and USA navy.

6. Wings of Steel

GO

Wings of Steel is the one and only mobile game of this best Kamikaze games list. So, simply skip this one if you don’t enjoy mobile games.

First of all, the game is free to play. But has some ads and in-app purchases. Secondly, it’s a singleplayer game. So, no bullshit. 3D graphics are beautiful also.

As for the game itself, Wings of Steel is a WW2 aircraft simulator. You can engage in intense dogfights, complete unique missions, and do kamikaze attacks.

7. Order of Battle: World War II

GO

8. Ships at War

GO

Ships at War is a physics-based naval combat simulator. One can truly experience all kinds of naval battles and more with its extensive custom ship-editor.

You can play with an aircraft carrier in Ships at War. It’s also possible to send kamikaze attacks from carrier ships.

It’s a very fun game, though I’m still waiting for developers to introduce online multiplayer to get back to it again.

9. Battlecruisers Showdown

GO

This one is pretty similar to the Ships at War. Except Battlecruisers Showdown values realism less and graphics more. Has online PVP too which is a huge bonus.

Anyways, it’s a RTS where players build unique battlecruisers to defeat enemy ships.

As for our main topic, the game has a unique skill called Kamikaze signal. Kamikaze signal can be devastating for the opponent ship.

What else does this game offer? Ah, napalm, nuke launchers, ultra-weapons, death star satellite, and ultralisk rapid fabrication facility.

10. Making History: The Second World War

GO

11. Strategic Commando WWI: World at War

GO

12. Besiege

GO

Besiege is a physics building game about constructing war machines to annihilate medieval armies and castles.

The game is using medieval setting. However, you can find realistic modern war vehicle mods on Steam workshop. Such as aircraft, tank, battlecruiser, helikopter, truck, etc.

What can I say? Somehow mod creators managed to turn Besiege into one of the most realistic modern warfare games.
