Most video games are about violence, killing, fighting, and etc, but you can still find some good pacifist games. Even better, overall violent games that also offers pacifist run option.
We’re all tired of killing. It’s time to use less violent solutions for our problems in gaming. Such as talking your way out, bribing, persuading, intimidating, and reasoning. That is the better way of enjoying role playing games.
I like games with no killing. But what I like more is a game all about killing which also offers a pacifist path.
10 games with pacifist run option:
1. Fallout New Vegas
Fallout: New Vegas is an RPG in post-apocalyptic setting. The game is filled with hostile factions, monsters, etc. It’s a game all about killing and survival.
Still, entire game can be completed without killing anyone. That’s why it’s ranked number one.

Stellaris is a sci-fi game mixes strategy and RPG genres. The game is set in the galaxy, each alien species has their own star systems and trying to expand.
At the start you choose the species, civic, manifesto, and many more features of your starting civilization. Since Stellaris has a pacifist civic, you won’t have hard time adapting a pacifist gameplay.
Fanatic Pacifist Manifesto:
As civilized beings, the end of all armed conflict should be our primary concern. War is an evolutionary dead end, as futile as it is wasteful.
Conflict as a means to an end is a ridiculous concept. It is by nature destructive, destroying what was to be obtained or giving room to grow that which was to be destroyed.
There are hostile hive-mind aliens, determined exterminator AI civilizations, and many more aggressive species in the galaxy. If you’re going to survive, you must make alliances with other pacifist species like yourself!

Thief is an old franchise first released in 1998. Latest game of the franchise is released in 2014. You can find it on steam, reviews are positive in case you are wondering.

The city is yours for the taking. Of course, no violence, only stealing. It’s possible to kill but the game is not about that.
