All the USA related or focused HOI4 mods listed below. Without a doubt, USA is one of the strongest nations in HOI4. However, it isn’t much fun to play really. Mostly because of its geographical location, great depression and isolationist policies. Its focus tree is also limited.

So, in order to spice things a little, we can try some USA focused mods. That is why I made this top 10 HOI4 USA mods list. Shall we begin?
1. North America Divided
North America Divided is an HOI4 alternate history mod that divides North America between states. On this reality, great depression was much more devastating and people lost their faith in the government. After that, one by one states decided to self rule.
Of course destabilization in the USA also effected both Canada and Mexico. So, choose your favorite state or territory and make a name for yourself in the world theatre. Currently more than 20 states have their own custom focus trees. Therefore I believe this mod is filled with flavor and offers multiple playthroughs.

2. Ancap America
HOI4 mod AnCap adds Anarcho Capitalist focus tree to the nation of USA.
Features:
- New libertarian path added to the USA focus tree.
- Anarcho-Capitalist sub-path for the libertarian path.
- Custom focus tree for US Steel Breakaway Nation.
It is quite an interesting mod and adds lots of things to do in the North America. Thanks to that you won’t get bored playing as USA.

3. USA States Redux
Ah, another USA mod that divides the nation. But this time, Mexico and Canada too are divided into million little pieces. One might call it Voltaire’s nightmare reloaded.

4. Arsenal of Democracy USA Reworked
During WW2, because of its industrial effectiveness, USA referred to as Arsenal of Democracy.
So, what does this mod do? Arsenal of Democracy aims to reflect the might of the historical USA industry world witnessed during the World War 2.
This mod doesn’t take the balancing into account. It basically adds new focus trees and units to boost industrial power of US after its interference to the WW2.

5. Southern Victory
There goes another alternate history mod revolving around the United States of America. It is based on Harry Turtledove’s alternate history novels series called Southern Victory.
In this world, Robert E. Lee wins the battle in 1862 for confederacy. That leads to the southern independence. In the end American continent happens to be divided for almost a century. Now in 1936 both parties prepares for the fourth and final battle to come. Here is the mod-page.
6. Colonial USA
Colonial USA mod removes the USA and gives back its lands to their respective old colonial owners.
Florida goes to Spain, thirteen colonies goes to UK and the rest is divided between France and Mexico.
Basically every US state returns to the first country who colonized it. Visit the steam workshop to subscribe.
7. America at War
Now you are looking at a rework and an overhaul mod specifically made for USA.
Features:
- New focus tree.
- New events.
- Added historical generals.
- More sophisticated designer.
- No more 70 days waiting on tree focus.
- Changed great depression.

8. Epic Music for the USA
As stated in the headline, this mod adds epic music to the USA campaign.
Music are taken from the most famous WW2-USA related movies and productions. Such as Saving Private Ryan, The Pacific, Black Hawk Down, Hacksaw Ridge, and Band of Brothers.
It is great addition for immersion. HOI4 epic music.
9. Imperiale Saeculum
This USA related HOI4 mod is set earlier in time.
In 1755, George Washington was enlisted to the Braddock Expedition, like in our time line it ends in failure and in the gunfight, George Washington was killed. The Revolution continues to spark but without a strong military leader, the lines begin to crumble at the seams.
If you like to experiment alternate timeline scenarios, give it a try.
10. The no USA
Just for shits and giggles, final mod on our list is The no USA. What does this mod do? It simply breaks USA economy and focus tree to render it completely useless.
Why tho? I don’t know. Maybe you don’t want US interference in your playthrough. This mod also revokes the USA guarantees all over Americas. Philippines becomes free too.
