Baldur’s Gate 3 – Bernard (Automaton!)

Bernard automaton in BG3 is an interesting character with astonishing story quest.

baldur's gate 3 bernard

Baldur’s Gate 3 Bernard is a guardian automaton character which can be found in the ruined / arcane tower.

Come out of love for me. Not love for blood and steel…

Command as you see fit. My lord, my liege.

Did you knew you could play as Bernard with playable automaton mod?

Bernard guardian of the enchanted tower is a machine speaking in riddles. He is a very interesting character and a possible companion if you ask me. Most of his dialogues and quests are missing in the early access but im %100 percent sure we will see more of him in the Baldur’s Gate 3 full release.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Mizora

Frankly, I am looking forward to seeing more interesting characters like Mizora and Bernard in the later acts.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Bernard Key and Flying Potion

After certain quest dialogues, Bernard gives a key and flying potion to the player character.

Bernard key can be looted from Bernard’s dead machine parts after the fight. However, that antique key have no use at the moment. Because most of the quests, characters, and items in the Underdark is incomplete. We must wait for the full release in order to find a use for the Bernard antique key.

What does flying potion do? I am sorry but we are still in the early access, therefore the flying potion, and most of the quests/items are not fully implemented yet. So, potion of flying is not working and does nothing after drinking it.

Bernard Fight

If you choose the wrong dialogue options with Bernard, he might attack you. Bernard boss fight in Baldur’s Gate 3 is not that hard actually. After all, Baldur’s Gate 3 difficulty settings are easy on default.

Did you know that you could easily cheese the Bernard fight? At first you must lure Bernard near the window, and after that simply push him down. The falling damage will kill him instantly. Is this a cheesy method? Yes. Can this be considered cheat though? Absolutely no. Is it fun? Without doubt yes, yes, and yes.
