baldur's gate 3 misc mods

Hello and welcome to the best Baldur’s Gate 3 miscellaneous mods. I love doing mod lists and reviews. Recently released articles about top Baldur’s Gate 3 weapon mods and best Baldur’s Gate 3 magic mods. But today our main topic is Baldur’s Gate 3 misc and Baldur’s Gate 3 utility mods.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Class Mods

These mods are going to make your playthroughs much more fun and enhance your game play experience. Lets get to it right away. Top best Baldur’s Gate 3 miscellaneous mods:

8. Custom Dices

Baldur’s Gate 3 has bunch of dice mods. You can choose your favorite ones, install all of them, and take turns playing with unique dices.

My favorite ones are the galaxy, arcane, dragon, and moon blessed dices. Though you can choose the one suits your playstyle the most. Let’s roll!

7. Search the Room

Looting is the most important aspect of any RPG. This mod highlights valuable stuff to you whenever you crouch. So that you never miss to loot important stuff ever again.

If you have OCD and want to loot everything, search the room mod will help you greatly. Instead of opening every container and looting every corpse, you can quickly highlight lootable items by crouching.

6. More Feats Mod

When your characters hits level 4, you can choose a new feat that unlocks new specialties in Baldur’s Gate 3. Despite having 15 feats in the base game, most of them feels bland. You can learn more about the existing Baldur’s Gate 3 feats here.

More feats mod adds 14 new cool feats to your game. There are many cool features coming with this mod, such as polearm master, telekinetic, fey touched, crossbow expert, healer, shadow touched, and sharpshooter.

5. Mud Crab Merchant

Mudcrab merchant mod is one of my favorite mod of all times. Do you remember the mud crab merchant from Elder Scrolls Morrowind or Legends? It was also modded in to Elder Scrolls Skyrim and Oblivion. You can find out more about mudcrab merchant here.

Basically this little guy is a merchant that lives at your camp. Mud crab merchant has 10.000 gold so that you can sell all kind of items at camp. Plus some other mods that adds items to your game, uses mud crab merchant as a base mod. Therefore making our crab merchant a mod item dealer.

I really enjoy having this cute companion on my camp. Furthermore, its services are extremely helpful.

4. Crispy Map

When you zoom in, these Baldur’s Gate 3 maps have this low resolution feeling. Even after a little bit of zoom, it gets blurry and noisy. In order to fix that issue, this mod doubles the world map resolutions and makes map reading much more clearer.

Crispy map mod makes a huge difference when zooming in to your map and it sizes only 70MB. For me, it is one of the must have mods for Baldur’s Gate 3.

3. Custom Dice Colors

Bored of rolling same old ominous red dice, again and again? It is time to stop that. Because custom dice colors will allow you to change your dice color.

Currently there are 8 new 1d20 dice colors exist in this mod for you to choose. These variants are purple haze, pinky, green slime, tangerine, mello yellow, emerald green, sky blue, and smoke & flames so far.

You can choose among many colors, however there can be only one color installed at a time. Once you get bored of that too, you can simply overwrite another color.

2. Loading Screens Expanded

Tired of seeing the same old loading screen images over and over again? Tire no more. This mod replaces the old, boring, and bland loading screens with the new ones of your choosing.

Loading screens expanded mod comes with different variants. You can choose the one you liked the most.

Instead of going with vanilla loading screens, I recommend you to choose one of these packs. Also you don’t have to choose one and commit. It is possible to switch between these packages any time you want.

1. Party Size Extender

This mod allows you to recruit all 5 companions to your party in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Party size extender is a modification of your save game with a third party program. There is a code line in Baldur’s Gate 3 save games that limits the maximum party members. All you have to do is edit that line and switch 4 to 6 so that you can recruit each and every companion available to your group. In order to do that, you need the BG3 save editor file. Which also can be found on the guide below.
