Baldur’s Gate 3 Vampire Mod
Patch 5 compatible Baldur’s Gate 3 vampire mod is called vampire spawn background. This mod lets you choose vampire spawn background during character creation. Also, after installing this, Astarion can turn your character and other party members. So, creating your own vampire coven in Baldur’s Gate 3 should be fun don’t you agree?
It is a great mod for Baldur’s Gate 3 evil playthrough. Because vampire is a creature feeds on innocent humans.
Three vampire spells included:
- Vampire Bite
- Vampire Spawn Bite
- Turn into a Vampire Spawn
Special tag called vampire spawn is also included. It gives superior dark vision bonus but walking on water deals damage to the character.
It must be remembered; Baldur’s Gate 3 vampire spawn race does not exist. Vampire spawn is simply a background and you can become a vampire with any race you want.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Vampire Companion
Astarion is one and only vampire companion in Baldur’s Gate 3. He can be recruited right after leaving the mind flayer ship.
It must be remembered, Astarion does not reveal his vampire nature straight away. First you need to fight with goblins sieging druids groove. After that you will find the dead boar corpse right next to the bridge. Once you find it, Astarion will act really strange and want to dismiss it. Because he killed the boar and fed on it.
So, the next night Astarion will prey on the player character. You will wake up and confront him. Finally, Astarion will ask a permission to feed on you. I wouldn’t want to spoil the what happens next. But in the end, he will reveal his true nature and start using vampire skills in combat. Also if you install the mod I mentioned before, he can transform other party members to a vampire.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Vampire Hunter
Oh boy, this guy is really strong. One and only vampire hunter we encounter in Baldur’s Gate 3 early access is called Gandrel. He can be found in the putrid bog, just outside the hags den (riverside teahouse).
He is specifically looking for Astarion, because his tribe sent him for this job. Additionally, his contract dictates capturing Astarion and bringing him to Baldur’s Gate alive. I believe this contract was given by our fellow vampires old master. We will most likely meet him in the later acts but it just simply a speculation at the moment.
