Welcome to the Baldur’s Gate Absolute article. Let’s discuss this mysterious deity. So far, we know that the Absolute is a Baldur’s Gate 3 villain. Perhaps even the main one. But who is Absolute in BG3? His or her identity is yet to be revealed. There are some speculations though.
Who is Absolute in Baldur’s Gate 3? Absolute could be the Bane, God of tyranny. Gloves of power might be foreshadowing that facts because its bonus is Absolute Bane. But that is one possibility. Person of interest could be almost anyone!
Absolute’s voice is a female one. However, that could simple be a deception. So, what do you think? Is Absolute female, male, or androgynous? Only developers know…
You can side with Absolute by helping Minthara. Serving a cult would be Baldur’s Gate 3 evil playthrough though.
BG3 Cult of Absolute
Cult of the Absolute in Baldur’s Gate 3 is an organization that is worshipping and serving The Absolute.
Higher ups of this cult are called True Souls. Absolute can talk to True Souls any time telepathically. That is how orders are given and organization works.
Cult wants us dead because we have the tadpole powers without being a servant of the Absolute. Our Tav and companions are anomalies after all.
BG3 True Soul Explained
What is a True Soul BG3? True Soul is a someone that is infected with a tadpole and under the Absolute’s command. Our characters are an exception this rule though.

After using mindflayer power authority couple of times, you will get a notice that you are now a true soul. It is a tag.
