Should I play Baldur’s Gate 3 or Divinity Original Sin 2? Which one is better? Well, first of all Baldur’s Gate 3 is an early access beta game with limited content. You can only play incomplete act 1. On the other hand, Divinity Original Sin 2 is a complete game. Obviously Divinity series are much more enjoyable at the moment. So, if you are asking for now, my answer would be Divinity Original Sin 2. However, once Baldur’s Gate 3 fully released, this opinion will most likely shift to Baldur’s Gate 3. Because it is newer, better graphics, richer story, high quality models, voice actors, etc.

These games are very similar after all. Since both of them created by Larian studios. Genre’s are mostly same too. Isometric RPG, turn based combat system, story rich, and exploration. Even more, some of the voice actors are same too. In the end, newer one should be better once it’s fully released.
Baldur’s Gate 3 steam reviews are very positive at the moment. Divinity 2 reviews are overwhelmingly positive which is much better than BG3. That alone says something.
