Everybody loves daddy Halsin. He is one of the most likeable characters. So, is Halsin a companion in BG3? The answer is no. Will Halsing become a companion in the future? It is unlikely because that would break the questline immensely. However, many players demand him to be a companion. Maybe developers will hear the player-base and make the impossible for their fans.
BALDUR’S GATE 3 FUTURE COMPANIONS
We already have some information about the possible future companions. But none includes Halsin. Unfortunately, there is nothing in Baldur’s Gate 3 datamine that indicates Halsin will be a companion or origin character in the future.
Minthara companion for evil path and Halsin companion for good path. Sounds good to me.
Can you romance Halsin? Not at the moment. Only Minthara and companions can be romanced, in the early access at least. Currently Baldur’s Gate 3 all romance options does not include Halsin. But perhaps in the future daddy Halsin will be available to romance. Who knows right?
Halsin Companion
As I have said before, Halsin is not a companion and probably never will be one. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t have him as a companion by using mods. Modding community of Baldur’s Gate 3 is really huge. Many mods released even without the mod toolkit. Once the mod toolkit releases, I am sure there will be many more mods including companions’ mods. Since there is already a huge demand for Halsin companion, a mod will make it possible for sure.
Now that we are talking about mods, will there be any romance mods for BG3? I am pretty positive because Baldur’s Gate 3 community is really horny…
There is one thing I wonder about Halsin which is off topic… Who is the voice actor behind Halsin? I am sure we can all agree that his voicing is amazing. Kudos to the amazing actor who gives life to our favorite druid character.
