I wish Baldur’s Gate 3 difficulty settings was a thing. But unfortunately there is no such a thing. So, in order to survive in the hardship of wilderness, you might want to form the best group possible in BG3.
BALDUR’S GATE 3 ORIGIN CHARACTERS
Best party composition in Baldur’s Gate 3 is the one with at least one healer. If your character is not a healer, then you should most definitely add Shadowheart to your composition. Because she is strong and can heal.
Gale should be part of this composition too. Because he has tons of spells and can acquire many more. That makes him exceptional in terms of different options in combat.
Finally, Lae’zel. Why? It is simple. She is strong as fuck. Lae’zel can one shot strong enemies with her longsword. Also her crippling strike and topple helps with crowd control. By the way, she can be an archer too in certain situations.
BG3 Best Party Composition
Warlock TAV, Shadowheart, Gale, and Lae’zel is my ideal composition. However, if you play as cleric, you can replace Shadowheart. Same thing goes for other companions too.
I usually don’t pick Wyll because his stats distributed in a bad way. He also ends up missing lots of eldritch blast. Maybe they will fix that in the future. Until then, Shadowheart, Gale, and Lae’zel is coming with me. You can replace Lae’zel with Astarion. But other two members are really good and I wouldn’t replace them. Except, if my character can replace their skillset, that is another story.
